meet some fierce hearts.

WANT TO go DEEPER?

(yeah, you must be my kind of people)

  • When I’d try to think of my future, I’d fear that I didn’t have what it took to live a fulfilling life, and that happiness was a myth that only privilege could offer. A couple of cycles of burnout brought on chronic pain and a hopelessness in my work and relationships. I knew that I was slipping into servitude with colleagues and friends and creating unsustainable dynamics, but I didn’t know how to make the larger shifts necessary to embody a deeper alignment with myself and others.

Coaching with Gloria gave me the time, practice, and attention that I needed to hone the skill of translating my values into my daily practices. She helped me break down situations, feel into interactions more honestly, and align myself strongly with my decisions. This paved the way for growing a trusting and caring relationship with myself that has bloomed opportunities, insights, and so much more pleasure in my day-to-day life.

This slow and consistent practicing has birthed a new scale of capacity in my body that I genuinely did not ever think was possible.

Gloria’s coaching style is deeply intuitive and collaborative. The perfect balance of flexibility and structure. I felt seen beyond measure and supported in exactly how I needed.

It is clear when working with Gloria that you have her full focus, and with that comes a rich landscape of curiosity. Her intuition inside and outside of sessions bends time and is truly a mystical brilliance to witness. This magic often takes the form of questions — those tough, soul-affirming kinds of questions — that cut straight through to the point, making complex ideas feel simple and clear.

Ultimately, working with Gloria is an opportunity to witness someone living brightly in their truth. It is contagious and ripples in ways that are hard to anticipate and notice, until you find yourself quitting your job and following your dreams.

  • I was not moving ahead in my art in the way I wanted to and felt trapped in my life circumstances in general. Gloria’s openness was key to encouraging the intuitive process of self-discovery for me, and as a result, I’ve shifted the framework to how I approach my life entirely.

She’s skilled in facilitating a space that focuses on both spiritual and material growth, and is also adept at addressing both emotional and mental aspects of this work. She was very open to exploring creative modes of coaching from human design readings and inner critic work to energy readings and dreamwork.

The most valuable part of this experience was having a supportive space where I could breathe and re-evaluate myself, my approach to life, and my goals. If you want the same, trust yourself that life has led you to this space and led you to Gloria. You won't regret it.

  • With Gloria's support, I found a softer way. I found the emotional and spiritual support that I needed as I was letting go and pivoting. I remembered that it's okay to spend money to support myself even if I am not "doing or accomplishing" anything. I remembered how worthy I am of the time and energy it takes to open myself up fully to being ME.

If you're in a space where you're not sure where to turn, what path to take next, or maybe even who you are - gift yourself the experience of working with Gloria. Allowing yourself to be seen and witnessed in her loving and accepting presence will be a healing experience for you. I'm sure of that.

  • We all know that lasting change must come from within, and so a good coach will probe, prod, push, and then know when to back off. Gloria did this masterfully. She gave me space to acknowledge things that I no longer wanted to carry and helped me to release. She interrupted my verbal circles and pushed me to explore what I was really after—the nuggets beneath the mental torrent.

When I came to Gloria I was exhausted and burnt out, though it took some time (and her help) for me to admit that to myself. I have a lot of freedom and autonomy in my work and so my schedule didn’t fit with my vision of what a “legit” burnt out person would look like (i.e. 80 hour weeks, never taking vacation etc). The first thing Gloria helped me realize was that it’s not about using time in a linear sense (i.e. the number of minutes that pass by), but rather the quality of the energy I had and how I was using it.

I needed to focus on my alignment first. I started to see that when I was aligned and feeling good, time flew and productivity was high; and when I was resisting and frustrated, I burned a lot of energy and didn’t feel good about what I was doing. This may sound obvious and it was easy to accept on an intellectual level, but putting it into practice was the key, and it’s here that Gloria really helped.

What I know for sure is that I’m happier, more at ease, more confident, and clearer on what is important to me (and what is NOT!) than I’ve been in a long time. And contrary to my nagging fear, I have all of this while being in better financial shape than ever before, and with a reawakened creative hunger I’ve been sorely missing. There’s no way I’d be able to say this were it not for my work with Gloria. I can’t recommend her highly enough.

  • There are two things I look for in a coach: Competence and Warmth. Gloria has both. She has a strong sense of emotional intelligence and knows how to nurture healthy affirmation by being attentive, understanding, engaged, and knowledgeable. She can tell if you’re BS-ing or not being authentic and will call you out in a safe, gentle, and kind manner.

She guided me towards clarity during one of the most uncertain periods of my career and helped me tune into my spiritual side. Simply put, Gloria is an incredibly effective coach. What stood out was seeing how playful her coaching style was at times. This fostered a friendly and fluid environment which made things feel light, natural, and human. She knows her shit and truly cares about adding value to her clients.

In my time coaching with Gloria, I was introduced to new breakthroughs that included the power of pausing, the necessity of rest, and learning how to better identify and manage my fears of rejection and shame. More importantly, coaching made me painfully aware of the things I needed to change while also exploring why these things weren’t working for me. As a result, some specific wins included quitting my job with the intention of slowing down and prioritizing rest; exploring my creative interests in dancing, photography, music, and writing; and uncovering patterns that contributed to my lack of healthy boundaries professionally and personally.

  • A coaching conversation with Gloria feels like embarking on an adventure with a close friend. Whether navigating winding paths, getting lost in the trails, reorienting ourselves, consulting our compasses, or just naming the beauty along the way, she is an amazing person to explore with. At the end of every call, I feel I and we have either gotten to where we aimed to get to, or somewhere better.

Our coaching sessions helped me bridge the gap between leaving my full-time work with an existing organization and stepping into making my dreams real. I'm now building a business of my own, on my terms with my community. Without this guidance, I'm not sure I would be in the hopeful and confident position that I’m in as I continue taking these steps with entrepreneurship.

Another beautiful result of this work is that I have renewed and healthier relationships with my creativity, music, work, play, movement and "Little Francis" now. And she's introduced me to many practical tools, languages, frameworks and questions that I can carry forward so I can sustainably cultivate these relationships further on my own.

Due to our sessions, I can say I'm at a point in my life and career now where I know with more clarity whom and what to say no to, because I was offered the space to practice saying yes to myself and my dreams, in detail, over and over again. I feel like I'm flowing through my days consistently now.

Any investment into Gloria’s caring, careful, curious, and considerate work has only led to growth and goodness in my days. If you're looking to explore inwards and outwards, whether it be your daily rhythms, career, creativity, or more, I'd recommend Gloria Eid as an adventure buddy without hesitation. I became more me by doing this work with Gloria, and I wish that for everyone.

  • I thought I wouldn't gain any knowledge I didn't have previously, and that coaching would feel cookie-cutter or not designed for me. I needed to gain realignment and resilience. I had gotten over the mountain of getting my business back off the ground, but, somewhere along the way, I made choices and accepted opportunities that didn't feel right. As a result, I was feeling extremely overwhelmed and regularly rendered paralyzed with fear about how I would get it all done.

Gloria provided me with insights and strategies to get back on the road to authenticity in work and life. As a result, I left coaching feeling RELIEF. My stress levels dropped. I walked away from some business relationships that weren't serving me, and I was able to gain an exciting new opportunity to teach. I even started dying my hair pink again -- something I haven't done in 10+ years for fear that this fun, authentic expression of myself would make me less “professional." I also accomplished a number of goals like hiring an employee and launching an online course. Coaching has become a safe space for me to explore my ideas about life and work without judgment. Gloria listens and offers perspective with only the thought of possibilities for me.
